Stirling Flake in an Orlik Billiard
Maybe I'm abusing this thread. I am treating it like, "what are you smoking at the minute?" As opposed to "this month". 🤣
Anyway, worth a post because it's always a good day when your favourite pipe works it's way around in the rotation, and this modest Vauen is mine, for an early 7:45am bowl with some coffee.
Again with SG Best Brown Flake. It’s so good….
thistime in a Savinelli 624
I´m feeling i have to put the 1792 away from myself, I´m reaching this tobacco soo much and i don't want to finish it too fast. Today i started smoking this amazing blend in my usual cob paired with coffee. This baccy makes me smile every time I start smoking and feel its flavor.
P. Stokkebye Toasted Burley +25ish% C&D Latakia in a cob.
Most enjoyable smoke if had in a few days.
Mac baren virginia nr.1 in peterson system. First smoke of my short vacation in Germany.
Torben Dansk Orient Specialitat with 20% Syrian Latakia as the last smoke of the day. In a Ropp 331c, 1/8 bent squat bulldog
Same thing with a little added Red VA Cavendish in the Savinelli 330 KS.
Tasty
I’ve set aside the Royal Yacht for now and I’m having a nostalgia smoke, Mixture 79 Cherry Brandy in a cob.
Royal Yacht is simply good stuff. I do like the K&K version a lot!
for me HBS in a cob
Began the day with Aged Burley flake 40% + 20% Best Brown Flake + 40% Syrian Latakia. Excellent smoke.
Nightcap, in a BriarWorks Classic.
Home mixture in the new old ass Castello.
So far really good. Likely some confirmation bias. But the pipe really does smoke and taste good.
Repair band as I knew. But it's really well done. It's actually like a military mount but retaining the original push stem. It came in pretty decent condition. But as typical the shank was a sewer. All clean and fresh now though. I can tell this old fella and I will be friends.
For the price it feels like a win.
Solani Aged Burley Flake for the last bowl of the day in a Savinelli Nonpareil 9121. Last complete bowl of the jar. Rest go to my recently inaugurated Frankenstein jar.
